Read from public YouTube pages

Channel Finder reads public YouTube pages when you search.

The median shows how many videos it used

and the expanded recent-video view shows when the data was captured.

Missing values show “Unknown”

If YouTube does not show a value, Channel Finder shows “Unknown” — never 0.

No revenue, RPM or monetization guesses.

Who it’s for

Anyone who has one good YouTube channel in mind and needs more like it.

  • Brands: creators to sponsor

Start from a creator who already fits your product. Get similar channels, keep the ones with real recent views that still post, and see a public email when the creator has posted one.

  • Agencies and outreach: lists in minutes

Filter by subscribers, country, language, channel type and activity, save the fits and export a CSV with public links and emails where creators posted them.

  • Creators: collab partners

Find channels in your niche and your size that are still publishing, compare recent views, then open their public links before you reach out.

  • Niche research

See which channels on a topic are active and which ones get views above their size — sort by views per subscriber or tap “Views ≥ subscribers”.

The filter sheet: subscribers minimum and maximum, country as stated by the creator, channel type, title language, last long-form upload set to 90 days, and channel age. 46 channels shown; 13 hidden by last long-form upload.

YouTube Studio has something Channel Finder cannot have:
your actual YouTube audience data. Nexlev and SimilarTube
offer broader research products and paid features.
Channels Like is a free, no-signup web utility.

Channel Finder is the narrower option: open a public channel,
find similar channels beside YouTube, compare recent performance,
save the useful ones, and export a shortlist — without a YouTube sign-in.

Frequently
asked questions

Answers to common questions about Channel Finder.

Is it free?

Yes, during early access — up to 20 searches a day. Paid plans will come later, inside the extension.

People who install during early access keep free access when paid plans start. There are no ads.

Do I need to sign in to YouTube or Google?

No. Channel Finder never asks you to connect a Google account, YouTube account, or Channel Finder account.

Can it access or act on my YouTube account?

No. It reads public YouTube pages signed out and does not send your YouTube cookies.

It cannot post, comment, subscribe, upload, delete, or change anything as you.

What data leaves my browser?

For matching, public channel text such as names, descriptions, and recent video titles is sent to our server. Emails, phone numbers, and links are removed first in your browser.

No Google or YouTube account information, cookies, browsing history, or current tab address is sent. A random install ID is used to enforce the daily search limit. See the Privacy section above for retention details.

Where do the numbers come from?

From public YouTube pages read when you search. Recent median views show the sample size, and the expanded recent-video view shows the date the data was captured.

If YouTube does not expose a value, Channel Finder says “Unknown” instead of turning missing data into 0.

Why don’t you show RPM, earnings, or monetization status?

Those figures cannot be established reliably from the public information Channel Finder uses. Rather than display an estimate as if it were a fact, Channel Finder leaves them out.

Do you have an email for every creator?

No. Channel Finder is not an email database. It shows a public email only when the creator has posted one.

Does it work for faceless channels and Shorts?

Yes. You can research faceless channels and filter for long-form or Shorts.

The same rule still applies: Channel Finder shows public performance data, not RPM or earnings estimates.

What if the similar channels look wrong?

Similarity is based on the channel’s own public information and recent content. Try narrowing the results with filters or changing the sort.

You can also start from a video instead of the channel when that video better represents the topic you are researching.

How is this different from YouTube Studio or vidIQ?

YouTube Studio’s “Channels your audience watches” report is based on the viewing behavior of your own audience. Channel Finder starts from any public channel you are researching and gives you a similar-channel list beside YouTube, with recent performance context, saving, filters, public contact links and CSV export.

Broader creator suites such as vidIQ cover many more parts of running a channel. Channel Finder is deliberately narrower: finding and shortlisting channels.

What language is the current release?

The current interface and landing page are US / English.

Does it work on a phone?

The extension itself does not. Chrome extensions run on computers.

On a phone, use “Share or copy this link,” then open the page later in Chrome on your computer.

Which browsers are supported?

Google Chrome on a computer. Edge and other Chromium-based browsers have not been tested, so we do not claim support for them yet.
